tracking: tracking is when the camera is moving in or out , left or right following a subjects movement. sometimes tracking can be done on a jib, track or handheld with a Steadicam
zooming; the camera lens moves in or out of a subject . the lens moves but the camera remains stationary
Tilting: tilting is when the camera moves up or down only and the camera remains in a stationary position
panning: panning is when the camera moves left or right only and the remains in a stationary position.
Steadicam: The Steadicam camera follows a subject movements while physically attached to a camera operator
Hand - Held: this camera is not mounted and therefore this has a jerky action / effect action , creating a sense of realism
Framing: Extreme long shot, long shot, medium long shot, mid shot, medium close up; close up, big close up, extreme close up
Medium long shot: The camera focuses on the subject's body, with the subject framed the knees up
Big close up: The camera focus is on the subject facial expressions, with the subject framed eyes to mouth
Worms eye view: A shot taken from directly below, looking up to the action or a point of interest
Canted angle: An unbalanced shot, where the physical camera itself is placed at an unorthodox angle
Wide angle: A shot taken from a distance in order to frame more than two subjects at the same time
